Implementing measures to eliminate unregulated fishing

Introduction:

Wildfires are uncontrolled fires burning in natural environments including forests, grassland, savannahs, prairies and other ecosystems. The main causes of wildfires are natural disasters and human activities. Natural disasters contribute to around 10-15 percent of wildfires and lightning is a major natural cause of wildfires. Human activities are also a major cause of wildfires as 85 to 90 percent of wildfires are caused by it. One third of wildfires started in the wildland-urban interface (WUI) and within the WUI 97% of wildfires are caused by humans. Human activities include sparks thrown from equipment and railroads, debris burning, smoking, power lines, campfires, accidental ignition, fireworks, and arson.

California is also facing house shortages with its large population.

Combatting desertification and drought

Introduction:

The unsustainable management of lands such as deforestation, unsuitable agricultural practice, and overexploitation of water resources will cause an increase in the proportion of desert. In recent years, a quarter of Earth's land is in the process of desertification, especially in Europe. The drought and desertification impede the growth of agriculture and leads to biodiversity losses. How to slow down and combat drought and desertification is a crucial problem that the Environment Committee must present, and action must be undertaken with the aim of identifying a solution to address the contentious topic.
