|Combatting the crisis in the West Bank|
The West Bank is a landlocked territory situated west of the Jordan River, and bordered by the State of Israel to the south, west and north. This area was under the control of Great Britain, through the British Mandate for Palestine from 1920 to 1947 as part of the Partitioning of the Ottoman Empire following its defeat in WW1. However, under the British rule, both the Jewish people and Arab of Palestine laid claim to this territory, leading to continuous conflict between the two groups.
|Countering the financing of terrorism|
It’s unfortunate to acknowledge that even within the 21st century, where most societies have transcended the ages of mass murder, hundreds of thousands of individuals are being affected by brutal acts of terrorism in the global scale. Various societies today face the constant threat of mass shooting, suicide bombing, and stabbing –lacking civil protection from the government and local authorities. It’s important to note that terrorism not only affects those that are actively harmed, but also affects third-party stakeholders and the social welfare of the community as a whole. This report aims to provide detailed research about such cases of terrorism.
